Where deepening connection to your inner life makes space for greater peace, freedom and possibility.

AREAS OF EXPERIENCE

Areas of Focus

I work with individual adults and couples who want to understand recurring patterns, strengthen their relationships and create more meaningful and satisfying lives.

Individuals

Areas we might explore include:

  • Anxiety, low mood and emotional overwhelm

  • Self-criticism, low self-worth and difficulty trusting oneself

  • Stress, burnout and loss of life balance

  • Grief, loss and major life transitions

  • Assertiveness, boundaries and interpersonal conflict

  • Changes related to health, injury, chronic pain, caregiving, aging or retirement

  • Questions of identity, purpose, meaning and fulfilment

  • Body image and patterns of emotional or compulsive eating

  • Feeling stuck, disconnected or uncertain about what comes next

Earlier experiences may continue to influence present emotions, relationships and ways of coping. Where relevant, we can explore these connections without allowing the past—or a diagnostic label—to become the whole story.

Couples and Relationships

I particularly enjoy helping couples and individuals understand the patterns that shape their relationships. Our work may include:

  • Improving communication and emotional connection

  • Understanding recurring conflict

  • Expressing needs more clearly

  • Developing healthier boundaries

  • Navigating differences, transitions or changing roles

  • Rebuilding trust and strengthening friendship

  • Creating relationships that allow both connection and individuality

Creativity, Identity and Possibility

Creativity can be both a way of knowing oneself and a way of building a more vital life. I welcome clients who are:

  • Reconnecting with a neglected creative life

  • Struggling with creative blocks, fear or self-doubt

  • Exploring identity through art, writing, music or movement

  • Seeking greater meaning, freedom or possibility

  • Interested in using creative expression to deepen self-awareness and communication

Creative work is always optional, and no artistic experience is needed.

Is This the Right Fit?

My current practice is centred on reflective, collaborative psychotherapy with adults and couples. I do not offer EMDR, intensive crisis stabilization, specialized addiction treatment or multidisciplinary treatment for active eating disorders.

If your concern is not described here, you are welcome to contact me briefly to ask whether my experience and approach may fit your needs. If another form of care would be more appropriate, I will tell you openly and, where possible, suggest relevant resources or professionals.

Coaching may also be available as a separate, unregulated service for people seeking future-focused support with goals, transitions or creative development. Coaching is distinct from psychotherapy, with its own consent and service agreement.
